The City of Long Beach is governed by the Mayor and seven elected Aldermen. City elections are held every four years.  The city elects the Mayor, one Alderman-at-Large and six Ward designated Aldermen to represent our respective wards. 

Regular meetings of the Mayor and the Board of Aldermen are held on the FIRST and THIRD Tuesdays of each month at City Hall, in the Open to the public Meeting Room at 201 Jeff Davis Avenue.  Meetings are scheduled at 5:00 p.m.
