As the chamber of commerce long beach businesses rely on, the Mississippi Gulf Coast Chamber of Commerce is a membership organization made up of companies throughout the Gulf Coast. The Chamber works to improve the business climate by fostering leadership, advocating for businesses, and providing information to the community. It does this through events such as Breakfast with the Mayor, Breakfast with the Superintendent of the Long Beach School District, and Chamber Tables. The Long Beach Chamber also hosts the annual Taste of Long Beach and Long Beach Chamber of Commerce Touch-A-Truck, which are community-wide events for family and friends. In addition, the Long Beach Chamber supports the community with a Small Business Grant program, scholarships for Long Beach High School seniors, and teacher grants.
