Water Department Information

Residential Rates

• Customers are billed either a flat rate of $90.00 per month or a metered rate based on usage.

Business Accounts

• All business accounts are taxed for water only.

​

Billing Details

• Water Department bills include Water, Sewer, and Trash Collection.

• Bills are mailed on the last working day of each month and are due by the 15th of the following month.

• A $10.00 late penalty will be applied to all unpaid balances after the 15th.

• Accounts subject to disconnection: checks will not be accepted for past due balances.

• Payments made after 2:00 PM will result in reconnection the following business day.

Trash Collection

• Trash is collected every Monday, except on major holidays. In those cases, collection will take place the following day.

• Trucks begin their routes at 6:00 AM. If your cart is not out by this time, it may be missed and will not be collected until the next scheduled pickup.

• For trash-related questions, please contact the trash company at 228-701-9086 (Option #1).

Payment Options

• In Office: Cash, check, money order, debit, and credit cards (a 3% fee applies to debit/credit card transactions).

• Bank Drafting: Available at no additional cost. Accounts are drafted on the 15th of each month. Forms are available in the office.

• Online / By Phone: Pay through Catalis at www.longbeachmswater.com or call 1-800-701-8560.

  • You will need your account number and amount due.

  • Please note this is a third-party site, and a $4.95 fee applies.

• Drop Box: Located on the front of City Hall. Checks or money orders only.
