This project included extensive renovations and improvements to the Quarles House on East Old Pass Road. The historic building has been restored to its original appearance as the Quarles family residence.
North Jeff Davis Avenue Extension
Completed : January 2024
North Jeff Davis Avenue was extended to connect West Railroad Street and East Old Pass Road. This included stormwater infrastructure, utility relocation, and other miscellaneous roadway improvements and restoration.
Signage Project
Completed : 2023
Included the addition of two Long Beach Harbor welcome signs and four City of Long Beach pillars.
Mitchell Road Widening - Phase 1 & Phase 2
Completed : 2023
Phase 1 of the Mitchell Road Widening included construction of drainage improvements to allow a future phase 2 of widening South Mitchell Road.
HCUA Wastewater Treatment Improvements - Phase 1 and Phase 2
Completed : 2023
HCUA wastewater treatment improvements included the removal of all failing Price Bros. pipe from active service, installation of new PVC sewage force mains from North Nicholson Avenue Pump Station to the wastewater treatment plant in Pass Christian, and several miscellaneous improvements at several pump stations serving the city.
Lynnwood Cricle Water Improvements
Completed : 2023
Lynnwood Circle water system improvements included the replacement of small diameter and failing water main infrastructure, fire hydrants to improve fire fighting capabilities, and included an asphalt overlay of the subdivision.
Long Beach Senior Center Generator
Completed : April 2023
A generator was installed to service the Long Beach Senior Center during power outages.
City Hall HVAC Repairs
Completed : February 2023
Repairs included the removal and replacement of aging HVAC systems at Long Beach City Hall.
Long Beach Public Library Roofing Improvements
Completed : January 2023
Roofing improvements included the construction and installation of a tapered insulation roof system at the library.
Harbormaster Building Repairs
Completed : April 2023
The repairs to the Harbor Master Building included fixing all damages caused by Hurricane Zeta, and included improvements to the function and serviceability of the building for continued service.
2nd Street Sidewalk Extension
Completed : 2023
This project included the construction of a sidewalk along 2nd street between South Burke Avenue and the USM "Gulf Park" campus, and also included miscellaneous drainage imorovements and restoration.
Trautman Basin Wastewater Improvements
Completed : 2023
The Trautman Basin Wastewater improvements included the replacement of the lift station at the Pineville Road and Railroad Street intersection as well as the construction of a new sewage force main along East Railroad Street to improve sewage performance and capacity.
Safe Haven Baby Box
Completed : 2023
This project included the installation of a Safe Haven Baby Box Drop Off located at Central Fire Station on Klondyke Road.
