Long Beach Live
Long Beach Live was established in 2011. The idea behind the monthly concert series was to expose residents and visitors to local talented musicians and grow our wonderful downtown area as well as to foster local business growth. In doing so; we have seen a marked increase in business for our local merchants and promotion of our city across the Coast. The concerts run from April through the end of October every year. Events are held the first Friday of every month in the Harper McCaughan Town Green amphitheater and are schedule from 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM. These events are free to the public and great family fun!
City events
Long Beach loves its residents and we also love planning events to include them! Every Saturday the Farmer's Market opens to sell fresh produce, meats, cheeses and more. During the warmer months, Finally First Friday (the FIRST Friday of each month starting in April through the end of October) events are scheduled with FREE live music, vendors and craftspeople lining downtown streets and bringing back the "small town" Friday family night fun. Summer Long Beach Family movie nights on Town Green are a great way to spend some time under the night skies with family. We host an official Cruisin' the Coast parade during that wonderful time on the Coast.
